Shanghai Sunrise is a volunteer-led charity and relies on dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers like you to achieve our mission.

 

Volunteers are truly the backbone of Shanghai Sunrise. Without their generous support and professional skills, we couldn’t do the daily work related to creating access to education and personal development for disadvantaged students in Shanghai.

 

We are always looking for passionate and talented individuals to kindly contribute their time and expertise – ideally for a few hours per week for at least 3-6 months. Volunteering with us is an opportunity to share your capabilities and experience, develop new skills, build your professional network and make new connections.

 

You could be part of:

 

• Fundraising

• Sponsor outreach

• Marketing & Communications

• Graphic design

• Webmaster

• Event management

• Volunteer recruitment

 

We are looking for volunteers, who are:

• University graduates or to be or comparable qualification.

• Fluent in English, Mandarin is a plus, but not a must.

• Planning to stay in Shanghai for at least 1 year.

 
The ideal candidates should:
 

• Have good knowledge and work experience in marketing, design, international sales, event organization and/or IT maintenance. But if you are a quick learner, that’s also fine.

• Have a clear picture, enough time and the motivation to work for an NGO.

• Enjoy working with people of different backgrounds.
